Thanks for posting the pics. I have almost 200 from my weekend there, and I just got home after 24 hours on the road. I'll have to add some pics later. Lots of nice cars there!
Great pics! I'm glad everyone had such a great time at the event. The staff and I really worked hard so everyone would enjoy it. We are already getting some great ideas for next year. Just so everyone can mark their calendars, it will May 18-20, 2007.
Now, I will resume my lurking and reading of comments.

The artist took pieces of Chinese art that tie to my past (my Chinese Name, my SF Military background, and a Chinese warrior God called Kuan Yu) and created an amazing piece of art. I understand it is not everyone’s cup of tea… but I like it and it sets me apart from everyone else.
Second, just about everything on that car is there for a purpose, maybe not necessarily just for racing (but that is the main focus of the car at this point and time) but very little on there is just for kicks. The entertainment started as a project for clarity when driving 80 mph with the top down. The trunk/PS2 evolved for something to do/watch during shows and car meets. The Cry02 is for keeping the engine cool as I push large amounts of boost.. And the doors, well, that is mostly for show, but it makes getting in and out easy as hell, and the photo opportunity’s from the side with both doors up is amazing.
I appreciate everyone’s comments/opinions, but there really is no need to make derogatory comments out of the blue. If you don’t like it that’s fine. Respect the fact I put a lot of care and time into it. With my new engine we will be tearing up streets and courses all over the east coast this summer/fall, especially if my conversation with Mr. Hotchkis went as well as I hope it did.

My original comments were not directed at you since I don't know you, but merely reflected my initial thoughts on the pictures that were posted of your car. In hindsight I should have refrained from commenting since my comments were not positive. I appreciate your explanation of what the graphics/art mean to you. That at least puts it in better perspective for me whether I personally like it or not.
Quite frankly I was somewhat surprised to see your car at a Z show. Most Z owners I know are traditionalists who are either into purely stock Zs or in to modding their cars to make them better performing with looks being secondary, except for their engines, wheels or body kits. I have attended many Z only car shows and never seen a car quite like yours. Although more and more 350Z owners are getting into what I call the tuner/custom car scene, some with big stereos, lambo doors and/or video monitors, they tend to go to the tuner/custom car shows like Hot Import Nights I believe it is called. Many of the original 350Z owners (2003) were former Z owners and therefore more traditionalists.
I grew up in the 60s and 70s when there were only three TV stations and no cable, much less the internet, CDs, DVDs and video games. When I got my first car my main focus was to make it better performing and my focus has continued in that vain. I want my car to look good, but go is more important to me than show. I prefer the stealthy approach to the extent a Z is stealthy. Plus I would't want to add extra weight (whether with lambo doors, stereos, video screens, amps etc...). No matter how much hp you have weight adversly effects handling and braking. Must be that generation gap thing that my parents used to talk about.

As for the ZDays late night, that was a great time. Glad I got to meet everyone I did, but there are still some people I have yet to meet. Next year is going to be the best yet, and maybe my care will make it in some pics next year. With as many compliments I got on my wheels, im suprised no one too pics of them.
I didn't know you were pulling over on the caravan to use the facilities. Otherwise, I would have waited for you. Sorry man!
BamBam.... That sucks *** to hear. Your interior and trunk were amazing.Very well done, I was confused when I saw the exterior since the inside was so well put together. But that explains a lot. If it makes you feel any better Thurday less than a half hour afterI arived some guy dropped a bike on my car causing $702 in damage
SmoothZ.... Yeah you SUCK for that. Oh well there's always next year, get your pics up..... BTW next year we will caravan together, just keep in touch.

Life is a compromise.... my car was one of them.
But I am sure even with the extra weight... it will still handle as well as stock if not a whole lot better and the power to weight ratio is such that each whp is pushing only 8 lbs... that is almost double the ratio of a stock car. So I am not doing too bad.Everyone has their own way of doing things. We differ on methods but I am sure we both enjoy our cars in many ways.

That's all I am going to say. Good times!

Here are a couple of the pics that I got that turned out good. My camera totally sucks in low light and a lot of them didn't come out good due to the fact that I had no tripod. Hopefully next year I'll have an SLR equipped camera with all the bells and whistles to get some good shots (my gf is a photographer).
Apologies if I didn't get your car either, most of them are from the group of guys that I came in with. I think everyone's car will be represented somewhere. Perhaps we should get a compilation of pics on a CD or something...

I saw a yellow roadster with the PIAA wheels and Nismo exhaust at Target in the Boot Ranch shopping center a few nights before ZDayZ. I saw what looked to be the same car at ZDayz, but it did not have a FL plate...so I assumed it wasn't him. If so, it's a small world!

I think I have a few pictures of your car, but won't be able to upload any pictures until I get back to Orlando in the next few days.

We had a blast....hopefully those that missed the event this year (Ron) will find a way to attend next year. Just say you have to leave for emergency business!

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. Work has been a bear since I got back… Congrats again on the 1st place win in 5th Gen, Modified FI.
It was good to finally meet you and that kickass car you have there.. I am not sure about seeing my car from behind, but watching you tear off after the apex of the twisties was AWESOME… and that 300 right behind you was nuts man..
I was soo mad I did not have my camera, but I saw the passenger of the 300 did. I look forward to seeing that video footage from Z1 motorsports soon man.Great time was had by all and thanks to the Organizers and Sponsors for taking the time to help us all have an opportunity to hang out and meet new friends.
