Silverstripes and I will be going to the Naples meet tomorrow. If you want to start getting together during the weekend sometime, medstudent, maybe we can jump-start a weekly meet again.

Hey everybody, some of you may remember me from around town here. My name is Don, used to own the gold '97 240sx. Well, that is currently for sale but I picked up an '04 6MT PPW Track edition Z and LOVE it! Ill post pics later!

 

So when and where do people get together around here? I havent seen a post with time and location.

Ok guys, lets get a location and kick this into gear. I have a tenative location in the works. The Orange blossom mall is a great place, and its in the middle between PSL and Vero. Its an abandoned mall that is used by the city as headquarters for the school district. There are awsome places there to take pics and places to eat around. Its also about 2 miles from I95 and the Turnpike.

There is also the Carvizion parking lot in PSL that is private and close to alot of food places and a theater.

In Vero there is the parking lot of The Majestic Theater. Wide open and same as the rest.

Lets get a meet scheduled for next Friaday night. So, post up and lets get a permanent location going.

Also, We have the 2 dealers wanting us to meet in their lots. Once we get a few people that show to the meets we can schedule some meets at the lots.

What is wrong with Tradition? There were places to eat and get a drink. I don't want to meet at some place without food or drink. Tradition was fine.

 

i agree, but for some reason the meetings just kinda came to a halt

 

The reason was that everyone decided to show up at 8:30 or 9PM when we agreed to meet at 7PM. That's why it didn't work. There were a few of us from Vero that showed up on time every Sunday so we decided that if no one was going to show up except the Vero guys why should we drive down to Tradition. So we stopped going.

 

^ Makes sense. Thats why I stopped meeting with people in WPB. It seems that after awhile everyone just has better things to do.

Maybe the meets should be further apart, that way people can plan for them and make arrangments. Maybe every 2 weeks or so...

I think its a good idea. Every 2 weeks will keep it from getting old, and it gives people some time to do new stuff to their rides. We are in dire need of a fun run as well. We had these monthly in North Carolina.

 

This is very true. Tradition is a great place. So lets do this. Lets make the meet Friday June 9th at Tradition in front of Publix. Lets make the start time of 7pm. We can stay there till 9pm and then maybe go to the bowling alley or take pics under the Jensen bridge.
