Any one know of a good wheel refinsher ?
Hello all ,
I got new tires at Tire Choice and they managed to scratch and gouge all of my wheels . They are going to pay to get them refinish them . Does any one know of any good companies locally ( South Florida ) that can refinish 06 305Z base 18" wheels ?
TIA for the help ,

let me know! thanks jun...You will have to drop the wheel off for them, because they won't unmount it from the car for you.
Just give them a call and tell them to quote you.
I curbed my front left and rear left 18" 06' OEM wheels last week. I got some nasty black scratches that are going to require some filling. I've been asking around in Orlando where I can get them refinished. Two wheel dealers recommended Turbax in Ocoee, Fl (www.turbax.com). I called Tubax today and they refered me to someone else. They gave me Dan's number 407-908-1820??? They told me they only deal with body shops and wheel resellers. So I call Dan. Dan gave me an estimate over the phone for $130 per wheel (includes balancing). I would have to drop off the wheels and it would take 2-3 days to get them back.
Hmmm..So this will cost me $260+Tax. I will have to rent a car for 3 days. So I'm now somewhere in the $350 range. I think I am going to hold off. I am better off just letting my OEM tires wear out, and then go buy new custom wheels with tires.
Post up what Turbax in Miami tells you. Or if you come across a cheaper solution.
