Default Depends on where you stay in Orlando...

Just north of downtown is an area called Winter Park. There is a shopping/dining area called Winter Park Village. (Not too far from I-4.)
There is a Wasabi Japanes place, and a P.F. Changs both within a block...
both are excellent...

Texas De Brazil is a must.

If you'd rather go to P.F Changs over TDB... You're insane!

Kobe's. The food is cooked right on your table by very talented chefs. They do kind of a show while cooking. Very good!!! It's on Semoran Blvd (also called SR 436) in Altamonte Springs.

BJ's is a pretty cool contemporary mid-class bar and resturaunt. by Mall of Millenia.

Latin Quarter has some good spanish food. Check out City Walk, they got Latin Quater, Pat O'Briens, Bob Marley resturaunt, Margarittaville, Nascar Cafe, and NBA Cafe.

All depends where you're staying. There are good restaurants all over town, with some chains mentioned here having multiple locations. Some of my favorites are:

On I-drive: Texas De Brazil, Capital Grille, Tommy Bahama, Bahama Breeze
Downtown: Hue
Mall of Millenia: PF Changs, BJ's

If its for an occasion, then Ming Court is okay, but least its more authentic than PF Changs, and down the street is Rangetsu (sushi chefs are actually japanese... well most of them anyways, unlike Kobe where they're all Vietnamese )

If its nothing special and you want real Japanese go to Aki down the street from wet and wild on universal, and real chinese go to Tasty Wok on colonial around mills. Doesn't look nice, but its cheap, and its the real deal.

lmao.. I thought we've been talking about high class places on this thread.

I have not gone there yet. I've heard it was a good BBQ place.
