Who's in NC?
Eric,
Did I see you today at about 4:30 or so on Davis Dr. by the I40 exit? I was in a black Z at the light turning onto I40 east, saw someone in a blue Z with dark tint and loud exhaust, they rev'd, I was asleep at the wheel and didn't notice until the light turned green and I heard the exhaust.
I'd be down for meeting up but don't think I can do wings now that my woman cooked dinner tonight

lol, yeah I noticed you but then the damn light turned green, I was going to roll my window down. I live in Cary, Harrison & Maynard. I'm down for a beer, where do you have in mind? I'll PM you back my #.

Not sure if you guys are still going to Hooters tonight, but I can't make it. Got to go to dinner with some friends that came in from out of town, last second thing. Have fun guys

We had a fun meet at Hooters; bigdaddy, Eric1h, G-Nite, Amp & myself. Unfortunately it was a pretty wet night, but that just allowed us to admire each individual raindrop as it sat tightly beaded on Eric's freshly-Zaino'ed hood.
The wet also made the post-meet drive a little squirrely - can you say "hydroplane"? I thought you could.
What's that? Did someone make a comment about my driving?

Brian - I do travel from to work on 54 sometimes so that may have been me that you saw. Not sure though.

Well, jnifong, I guess you're going to have to show up at one of our local meets to prove that you actually do exist!
We had a good meet at Remington Grill today, me, Eric1h, Stungeon, Flyingscot, Daniel, (am I missing someone?) and we even had a "random Z" show up, a totally unsuspecting guy and his girl drove into the parking lot in a DB Touring totally by coincidence! He was mobbed by the crowd and hopefully will join the Tarheel_350Z Yahoo group.
I have Flyingscot's video from his track days in Canada and I'm transposing it from video tape to computer file now. So far it's interesting from a technical point of view but not too exciting; I have only watched one, and I am a bit puzzled. So far the theme is "passes many Porches, is passed by many BMWs". What's up with that???

Did you buy it from CCN in Sanford? They were so impressed with my Silverstone Track when it came in (first Silverstone & first Track they had seen) that they ordered & sold several more.

If anyone posting in this thread is interested in any meets or events we have and are not already on the Raleigh or Charlotte area mailing lists, send me your email address in a PM and I will make sure you get on the mailing list.
