Tim I think you are on to a great idea! We should all go bar hopping in Atlanta or have a big FP get together at someone's house. I would host it, but my dorm is about 12'x16', so thats out I think.

I remember when I was picking up my car, Sharif was asking me and my two buddies what we do for fun in college, to which we replied that we do some drinking on the weekends. He countered by saying, "Yeah, I tried to get into the heavy drinking thing, but it just wasn't for me". I got a kick out of that, and I give him props for giving it the ol' college try.

As an aside, lest anyone get the wrong idea of what I'm all about, I don't really drink that much myself, the last time I was really shitfaced was like 3 or 4 months ago.

I was in Atlanta for New Years Eve and Day. We stayed in the Super 8 on Cone St. I don't recommend it, as it was scary. Suffice, our room number was penciled in on the wall next to the door. There was also a Widespread Panic concert going on a few blocks away, and suffice to say the people who went t that concert were a bit unsavory. We had a blast though, except for the part where we lost the bowl game.

Did you have to go through the bum gauntlet where every block someone asks for a cig or some change? Is that the crap hole right next to Phillips Arena? I think Sarah and I stayed there after a NIN and Queens of the Stone Age concert. Damn bums are taking over ATL.

You're ******* A right they are. Every hobo in the southeast seems to have congregated in the area. They all are panhandling some story or other crap, and everyone wants money for nothing. Sh*t was starting to get on my nerves.

We were getting hungry at like 2:00am, and we were trying to find a diner, and I said to one of my friends "Hey, why don't we just ask the concierge if..........nevermind". Basically that hotel was a ********, but it was the only place that had any open rooms (fancy that) for NYE. Honestly, I'm just happy I didn't contract hepatitis from that place.

We made it to some diner after the show. I had a whole pack of smokes when we left the hotel and I had 2 or 3 when we got back... That's got to be the same place we stayed.

Probably cheaper to take a cab for a few blocks and avoid the harassment.

That sir, sucks ***. If it makes you feel any better, I got my first hemroid right before I drove to Miami, which is like an 9hr trip by car . At least you got the guy to admit guilt. My baby got a big dent in the door and no ever saw anything.
