Since most on the boat are goin down Thursday do we wanna try and arrange a caravan down?

we are not brining the truck due to gas and how much it eats up. were gonna bring the mercades. i'm gonna drive down thursday i guess if people are going YES we could caravan. and my fiance will be down friday after she gets off work, hopeing she gets this job.

so just let me know...tommorrow is the last day to tell me if you can make it or not...so please let me know.

 

I think I'm gonna get a set of walky talkies so that I can leave one in the boat and just radio whoever is in there to come get me when i get back. Others might wanna do the same since all 13 of us aren't going to be staying together probably the whole weekend and cell phones are a no go up there... just a thought

wow I can't believe I haven't seen this thread until just now. we will diffinately be up this weekend for the game.

for those of you who don't know today was my very last day in the army so we shouldn't have anything that will hold us back from being there the full weekend instead of having to come late.

we should check to see if our previous entry in the captains log is still there and write a follow up. don't forget there's always spear fishing .

dan: I think your right, everybody deffinately needs to bring some walkie talkies. I think it'll be the easiest form of commo especially when doing the poker run or runs down the dragon.

I remember talking you you last year, and I was like "So it must be tough serving overseas...". And you were like, "Actually, Iraq was a good time". I don't think I'll ever forget the paintball story, or for that matter, ya'lls Cigarettes for Kids campaign .

I definitely think the walkie-talkies would be good. You should have snuck some out of the army before you left.

I was thinking if I could score a police trunk scanner, that would be awesome.

And as far of the scanner goes... im hoping to do a set up in the near future with one mounted in the glove compartment. Ive got some friends back home that owe me some favors and are pretty good with them.

I know have at least two walkie talkies so we can probably just get enouph so everyone has one and have a base station back on the boat.

 

Yeah there's some 14 mile ones on amazon.com that aren't that bad
