Ok. I'll give everyone something to ponder (and give me an answer ha).
When i first start my car up and get it into gear it makes a deep kind of rattle from it sound like behind and under the head unit that general area. It stops after about 30 seconds or so of driving when the car gets a little warm.

Anyone have any ideas as to what this could be.

And if it helps it started happening after i drove through a fairly big puddle after runing my car fairly hard. Im thinking that it has something to do with the test pipes heating up and cooling rapidly (possible warping). And the car is in gear when it happens its not engaging.

OK BOYS! Got something new for you to think about....CIN can get a mobile Dyno set up for this meet but he has to have at least 10 people to get the dyno....it would be between $40 - $50 for 3 pulls (he can't remember which price). If we do wind up with enough people running on the Dyno I will cater food there for everyone (yes the food & drinks will be FREE to you all).

As an added incentive I will pass out raffle tickets to everyone who signs up for the Dyno and I will pay for whoever's number I draw.

If you are interested please add your name to the list..I will start it with us. REMEMBER we need at least TEN cars to sign up for this to happen.

Could be your TP's rattling against the heat shield or cracked TP's creating a leak. If thats the case it will only get worse over time.

from the kart site:

pre-booked GROUP RATE
Groups receive member race package rates

Minimum of 8 racers, requires 50% deposit

are we going to do that? Seems like a good idea.

Iffy about the dyno........dont know if my car will make it up the ramps.

If our car can get up there, anyone's can (you can also just remove your bumper for it)

And, Yes that is what we are doing for the go-kart...Louie has already been in touch with the manager

Well, don't sign up and then if we can work something out the day of (providing we get enough people to even get the dyno) then you can get on board I will talk to Louie about the head count....I think the guy is starting to put on the pressure for it so a head count as soon as possible would be great....I will go off the original list and just add + 1 if you are bringing you girl or anyone else

I have been in contact with the owner trying to set something up. When the event date gets closer ill give him a more accurate head count on who's attending so we can get the best rate possible.

If you guys are into laser tag as well ill list the prices and we can decide from there. Also depending on if we are getting the dyno or not it might be wise to postpone the karts for another meet since there is a lot to do that day already

Chris - im sure your car will be able to get on the dyno if not they should have ramps or boards to raise it a little higher. I am all up for this, curious to see how my setup will do in the hot weather. My guess is not well, might even get by some NA ppl
