Good news and bad news:

Good news: I've got my car back, so that I can meet you guys at Pier Park tomorrow.

Bad news: I've got a head gasket / head lift problem with an intermittant leak whenever I get into boost. I've got to have my engine pulled!!!

I'll be able to cruise without overheating, but I am totally bummed about not being able to take some rocket lauches down 79 with some of you guys. After I get back from Roebling Road this August I'll take the car back to Smith Motorworks for them to pull the motor out and do a final tune on the engine. I'm shooting for > 800whp which I do not think will be any problem. Then I will meet up with you guys again to show you the results.

By the way, where exactly are we meeting tomorrow at 1pm?

I would say meet in the Dillards parking lot next to Ruby Tuesdays (on the north side) which is located at the corner of US 98 and Pier Park Drive. We can move the cars down to the busier south end once everyone gets there. The northern lots are larger and much less congested.

DAMN, TOMZ is looking SICK!!! I also like the G with Z wheels. But i do think you need to change them soon cause i'll be rockin those wheels for a lil while. I'll see all you guys at the Aug. 2 meet but i'll be riding shot gun with Schloem.

I will not be seeing you guys at the August 2nd meet. I'll be at Roebling Road, and the Z will be back up in Atlanta at Forged Performance. Hopefully when the car gets back I will be able to show you one of the most powerful street Z's on planet earth.

but I thought there maybe some Z enthusiasts in the panhandle that might like to share in the progress.

 

Let us know when your Z is back up and running. Also I'm down to do a track meet when your Z if fixed.

 

it's all good.. I know you probably have one of the most powerful Z's in the land, but the "on planet earth" part brought a tickle, thinking there were other planets with Z's and G's...
