Well guys, for those of you who know me, EvoRob is no more. My Evo was stolen on wed morning. I know I'm not going to get it back and if I do its going to be stripped. Hopefully my insurance will come through good for me. I probably won't get another Evo with the money. I think I'm going to go more luxury this time.

The next meet will be on this Saturday and will be held at the Maroone Nissan on Douglas Rd and Pines Blvd for next Saturday the Miramar SuperTarget meets will be permanently changed to the new Starbucks Pines location.

Well the car was @ my apartment. I'm looking at maybe getting a 09' BMW 335i or if I can swing it an 09' M3.

**** man...i couldn't imagine the feeling of walking out and realizing that your cars gone. i hope the insurance really comes through for you.

 

Second white Evo stolen. They had an Evo meet, I think last month, and they went to a restau after, when they came out, one newly modded Evo was stolen.
They even suspected that those who stole it was reading their forums.

 

Good thing I equiped mine with the self destruct mechanism, and can be remotely activated!

 

Wasn't there also a silver evo stolen from a Dave and Busters not to long ago also? It was during a car meet also with about 10 other evos right next to it.

 

It seems like they know the owners, they probably own Evos too and just take the parts they need and sell the rest IMO, those people should be killed with fire!

 

Yeah so alot of evo's have beeen stolen recently and I have no doubt that the people read the forums to find cars. The fact that they would take one from a resturant is crazy especially if its during business hours. Who knows they could have been watching me for a few days and knew a could time to take it when no one was around. I'm using all my detective skills to find out any and everything I can involving my theft and other evo thefts.

 

Sorry to hear about that EvoRob. I know I would be going crazy right now. Im sure that some if not all of these evo thefts are related. And for them to be as bold as to steal a car from a open parking lot with people constantly walking around is nuts. If I was a Evo owner I would be getting a alarm with lcd remote asap.

On a side note, I would sign up on every forum around here and try and get as much information as possible, if you already haven't that is.
