It sucks, I know. I was looking forward to it. But..... when Miguel moves up here with me, we're going to be house hunting. I'm not buying another house without a pool again. My last one I had built was in NC, not really a pool kinda place. But since we're back in Fla, we need one! That and a bigger driveway. I like entertaining company!
I like the way one of the guys talks as though he's Louis with the high pitch voice. lol The whole thing is like listening to a record made for playing at 33rpm and listening to it at 78(well, for those of you who ever HAD a record player back in the day that is - you know what I'm talking about)!
You never buy a woman a car unless she SPECIFICALLY points it out and that is of course, after you've been married for a while. Known a few people who've had gold diggers who've they bought expensive things for who simply turned and ran when the mood suited them or they met someone else who had more. And no one likes an indian giver either. So just say "no" to cars, houses, 5 carat rings, etc. Bad ideas and I hate to say it, but you never want to spoil a girl TOO much. When girls get used to that, then they expect you to do one better every time.
Personally and from experience, if you're going to get something for someone special, take them on a trip somewhere nice and somewhere neither of you have been before. They will never forget the trip and will appreciate it alot more - especially if it's new for you both. And as a side note - if you're dating someone and do this and it doesn't work out before you go anywhere - you can always take someone else and you're not out anything "real".
