The Civic looks amazing. I still wanna steal your interior lights!
And don't worry about the job Antoine. I tried to get into Metro-Dade PD, but was turned down because of my sister's record (apparently immediate family members getting into trouble with the law counts against you - especially felonies) and then tried with BSO. I got through the polygraph, trigger pulls, physical, mental eval. and O course just fine, but I failed the swim qual portion on a technicality - they didn't allow me to retake the swim part for 2 months! But I eventually got hired on with HPPD in North Carolina anyways.
Personally, I'd try to get on with the fire department. But even still, both of those may experience hiring freezes. There's just nothing certain out there anymore. The only thing that's FAIRLY certain, is working for the government. I was hired with the U.S. Government's military operations & DOD sector after the military and then given the opportunity to be hired with General Dynamics earlier this year, but turned it down because it was contract to hire. I'd only take a direct hire though, so I decided to take a transfer with my current job to my manager position I'm in now. I keep all my benefits and seniority.
ALSO! - you may also want to look at Florida Fish & Wildlife and then Border Patrol. Corrections is also pretty good. I have lots of buddies that work in government - go to this site for vacancies:
