no interior: not even the smallest plastic part..., no doors, no fenders, no engine, no suspension, no sunroof...

No way! Why are you selling the car? And what's next? Or just concentrating on the RX7?

I was wondering. My wheels on my Z are 19x9.5 +17 front and 19x10.5 +20 rear. Do y'all think they would fit on a G37 sedan?

 

And oh by the way my Z is for sale if anyone knows someone looking for one

I just wanted to know if anyone knows of a good muffler shop around the Ft Lauderdale area. I live by Tamarac, so anything near the area will be great. I just ordered a Magnaflow x-pipe and would like a good shop to put it on. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

2+2 conversion - The 3 gen rx7 in Japan came with 2 bucket seats for the rear just like the second gen RX7, However that option was never offered in US. I found a guy from japan that had the rear seats with seat belts and panels and i bought it from him. I just could not resist...
changing the carpet to black ( I dont like the tan carpet)
Seats will be re-done. (no racing seats.. i like the look and feel of the stock seats better)

sounds like a lot of stuff but is not.. the car will look very simple. That is what i have for now...

As far as time table, i think the paint will be done by the end of summer. is a pain in the *** because we are taking everything out including wind shield, rear glass, everything on the engine, wires, etc.. all the interior has been gutted out, dash board, roof and every plastic. And we are very methodical.

After the car is painted, then the suspension goes to get powder coated, then the engine goes in, then all the parts, wires, interior plastics, dash board, roof, sunroof, etc, basically putting the car back together but at a slower pace because the car is newly painted and we dont want any scratches... then comes the unexpected incidents of a part broke and all that crap...
then, once completed the car goes to Pettit Racing shop to continue the process of the bolt on parts that can only be done after the car is complete ( intercooler, piping, BOV etc) ...

then... as I am typing i am realizing that end of summer is wishful thinking... end of Fall sounds more like it...
