I might not have entered HIN but who's driving the G now? I did not buy it for shows, but to enjoy it, one for me and the other for my son.
I originally did not want to buy the G, just the rims, but I wanted to help you out in your time of NEED, so being a group member and a friend, my family decided to buy your G.
But let go of the G, if not buy it from me cash, like i did from you, and stop announcing it as your G that you sold to me. Let it go or buy it back.
Don't forget who helped you out. This is what Ricky's speech is all about. What makes this group great is not measured by our rides, but by the friends we make.... and friends are there in times of NEED....

Just think of this...The price per HIN ticket is about $25. For you and your son it's about $50. Now if you were to enter in your car in the show which is I believe $50 or so, your car would be in the convention center, you receive two wristbands...one for you and the other you can give to your son. Your son gets in the show for free and you both can get into the convention center 3 hrs prior to the show starting so that you can snap pics of all the cars in the show before it gets flooded with people. It's a no brainer. So like this you can tell your grandchildren that your cars were in at a HIN show, LOL!!! I'm just giving my 2 cents...It would be fun. That's absolutely it!!!
By all means Wesley you can do whatever you want with the car...It's yours. Thanks for buying the G from me as a friend and being there for me during the loss of my Mom...but you know very well that I would have sold it to anybody else for alot higher price very easily, but ended up giving you a great deal on it knowing that it would still stay in the group and that it would be taken care of very well...
And finally Yes I will let it go as far as expressing comments saying on here making it feel like as if the G is still mines. And that's my bad!!! What can you say, I miss the car...
But I come to realize ofcourse that in the long run I have big things coming my way. So with all that being said, can we still be friends Wesley? LOL!!!
One last thing because I love typing, LOL. I just didn't mean to hit this up only to Wesley, but for everybody in the group this goes for you all as well. I'm only expression my feelings as a friend that once a year and it doesn't have to be every year...But just for one HIN maybe when I get back in the game that we should make a grand effort and enter in our cars at a HIN show. Well, I'm pretty sure that almost everyone that attends the show will want to park in parking area in front of the convention center, so we can park inside the garage...IMO, hopefully we can park together, if not we'll be all over the place.

Ouch dude you didn't have to get all hostile on me Wesley, LOL!!! I'm only expressing the opinion about showing at HIN every once in a while as a group and having fun doing so. Just like how the group makes an effort on showing at big meets such as the ones at Markham Park, it wouldn't hurt every once in a while for once a year to dish out the $50+ and to show as a group for those of you that have atleast your cars looking nice and to just show and hangout as a group to simply have fun while people walk around snapping pics at your cars and asking all of you questions on the cars and talking to you guys about your group, etc...It's simply just to have fun.

Speaking of car clubs... It was always about the friendship with us... We were all like family... Honestly if the friendship is there to begin with, than the car makes no difference..... Maybe next year, we can all show together.... Make a big thing about it.... I honestly think its a little late to be thinking about showing esp for HIN.... Any other car show and it wouldnt matter.... But HIN is a different animal... Sorry if I am butting in, but just giving my 2 cents.......
And I know that HIN is a different animal of a show compared to other shows, but assuming that you've been to HIN shows before, there are cars there that absolutely don't belong there with messed up paint jobs, cracked bumpers, scratched lips on the wheels, etc...I can go on and on.
In conclusion making some of the cars including yours which is maybe stock (i dunno) that would slap up a bunch of cars at HIN. Don't get me wrong now, I'm not telling you that you should show your car. It's up to you. But if a good amount of cars in the group have a few mods done such as wheels, drop, a kit, clean of scratches without a messaed up paint job, etc...should atleast show as not only to show only for the car, but to be with friends and having a good time and meet new people coming up to you asking questions about your car and about the group, telling them that we do meets on such and such days and make the weekly meets bigger and to make new friends...I don't really want to blow up this thread about showing cars at shows. I just believe that we should do it just once a year for the fun of it.

I hear ya girl. Very nicely said. I know we haven't met yet, but my name is Milton. Nice to meet you. And yes friendship is always there regardless about the car thingy or not. I know it's way too late to show at HIN especially at this time because registration is way closed by now. You have to register atleast a month before to show or depending on how full the registration of cars is.

I like that idea.... But I feel ya... I wanted to show my car last year since I had just got the Nismo and it was before they were really out... But of course.. My ex got in the way, and it was a bad idea, blah blah, blah... Thats why he's my ex now... Anyways... For shizzle!!! But wait!!!! Nobody can show at HIN next year and wait until I get my GTR which hopefully should be sometime in 2010, hehe...For 2009 I'll be all up in my saving up money mode, LOL!!! If you mean about my car being in the show. I sold the G37 to Wesley. He's the proud owner of it now. If not then I would have been in the show. I drive now an 08 Benz C350 which is completey stock, but next month slapping some HRE wheels on it. If I would have had the HRE's on the car by now, I would have shown the car. And I'm sure that I would have been the only C350 in the show...

Oh I know that for sure...But knowing how our group is knowing them more than you do...they're not in the whole club/party scene. Unless anybody wants to prove me wrong...I used to be a party animal, but I've been there, done that. I would mind going every once in a while, especially since there's going to be HIN afterparties left and right. But knowing the crew, we'll just settle on going out to eat afterwards and talk about the show and crap.
