Default i'm screwed! help anyone?

alright i lost my one and only set of 350z keys, first of all i wasnt driving down the highway and decided to throw my keys out. i was on my motorcycle and had the Z keys in my jacket and they fell out on the highway somewhere...
does anyone know if the dealership can make a new key with just only my VIN code on my car?

Any Nissan Dealer. your only option. The key has a small stick (chip) inside.. without it the car will not turn on even if you are using a key that fits...

im not a 100% sure on that though

On a side note: does anyone have a hookup (esp in Orlando) of someone who will copy a 350z key for less then the hundred bucks the stealership wants?? The best locksmith I could find wanted 80 bucks and I really don't like having just one set of keys that the girlfriend can lose.

keys are fun to program. I am a Nissan Tech and the process to burn a key is a pain. If your getting it done for around a 100 dollars your getting a deal in my book. ANy questions feel free to PM me.

your a nissan tech AND you drive a Z??? thats virtually unheard of...so many issues early on turned most techs away. I was an advisor at a nissan store when the 350Z came out...I couldn't have paid one of my techs to own one.

oh btw, good luck finding your keys man. Just suck it up, tow it to the dealer and get one cut/programmed.
