Default AVOID Town Center Nissan!!

Hey guys just wanted to let you know what I have been dealing with over at this dealerships service department.

I took my car there about 4 weeks ago now to find out my gears in my transmission are going. I have an 05 with a little under 49k miles on it and they denied fixing my transmission because it had the "wrong" transmission fluid in it. Sounding fishy I bring it to my trusted mechanic and he tells me my fluid had been changed because the drain plug still had fluid around it and the fluid in there looked brand new.

Now the service manager is denying everything and telling me to report this to whoever I want it won't help me and I'm out of luck, then hung up on me.

At this point I don't know what else to do. Should I contact a lawyer? I have also been in contact with Corporate but it takes the lady 2 to 3 days to call me back. Every time the conversation goes no where and just throwing me in circles.

Sorry for the long rant but this is about as low as a dealership can go...

I'd start with the general manager. If you call him, try to record the calls. Nothing like a little self-incrimination.

See that's were it gets fishy...

Melissa the Nissan consumer person told me that I had been approved but the dealership had to check one more thing. I take it there and asked them what they were checking and they just kept saying I don't know the manager does and his out to lunch(at 5 in the afternoon ). Call the next day and they still won't tell me what they are checking and manager is in a meeting Then I get a call the next day saying I was denied because of wrong fluid...

Damn, reminds me of my days with Hyundai. They authorized me for a tsb that involved both front control arms being replaced, scheduled me and everything. When I came in they gave me a different story and reasons on why they couldn't do it. After an free alignment and oil change they said that I should be thankful because that's about $150.00 worth of labor.

Filed with BBB, problem solved. This was Hyundai of Athens by the way guys. Also filed one against Rick Case Hyundai. Hyundai service for the ***** fawking lose.

Anyhow, I hope things get cleared up Aarantes. That's some ******** dude. I bought my mass air flow sensor from Town Country and they did a complimentary inspection, fluid top off, and light detailing free of charge.

sounds to me like you got fukked over unless you did indeed have the wrong fluid in there now as for there being new fluid... maybe they tried to get by with just putting fluid in it and once they saw that your mt really needed to be replaced... lol thats where the fukk you over part came into play...

They switched it out on me I drove straight from the dealership to my mechanics and my mechanic has always let me watch him install things on my car so I know the right fluid was in there to begin with.

Avoid Lithia Springs Nissan too. Try a complaint through Nissan of N. America if you haven't done so. Dealerships always try to get out of warranty work.
