Thumbs up Z-Fall Dragon Run

As most of you might know, my boyfriend, McDuckz (Andy Morris:Red 08 GTR) started ZDayz 6 years ago! My first ZDayz was this year! I never knew that you could have so much fun with that many people in one place! In my opinion, Bryan Settle and the guys ROCKED it out at Z009 ZDayz! After meeting SO MANY new friends in Fontana, I heard your cries for MORE! So I am putting together a smaller scaled ZDayz for Fall! The leaves will be changing! It will be PERFECT weather for Bon-Fires and late night drinking around it! After throwing around a few names with lots of other Z-Club members, and knowing that I am not allowed to use the "ZDayz" Title (Sponsor reasons) we have come up with "Z-Fall Dragon Run!" Please read the details below and feel free to contact me directly so I can get this event into the final staging! Shana LaRiviere: cell:704-860-8113 or email:Slariviere@vitex.com
Email is the best way to get a hold of me, that way I will have everything in writing and I can keep things in order!

When… October 22nd (Thurs.) - 25th. (Sun.) That would be plenty of days for all of us. No one would REALLY miss too much work or school.
Accommodations… I have worked out a contract with Fontana Village. We have 26 cabins available to Z-Club Members! They REALLY hooked us up with the rates! MANY Thanks to Lacey Piper (FV) for helping us out! All cabins located near the NEW fire pit/towards the back of the Village. Cabins/Lodge Rooms rates: Lodge Room with a Fireplace; $99.00/night. One (1) Bedroom Willow Cabin w/ fireplace;$99.00/night. 2BR/1BA Laurel Cabin;$99.00/night. 2BR/1BA Hemlock Cabin;$119.00/night. I figure, with 5-6 people +/- sharing the cabins, it would REALLY cut down on the price per member would have to pay for sure! And that’s a plus! Means more money could be spent on gas and food!
Food (Dinner)… I am needing to wait and get a head count, then I plan to go to SAM’s Club or BJ’s Club and price out how much food I will need for at least 3 nights of dinners for everyone that will be attending. I will ask that each person send me money/Paypal to pay for their share and I will be doing the cooking! You can ask MANY people.. This girl KNOWS HOW TO COOK!!! You WILL NOT be disappointed! I PROMISE! I have planned; Homemade Chili and corn bread (since it will be chilly at night in the mountains). Redneck chicken, served with mashed potatoes, green beans, a salad, and rolls. I also would like to make a bunch of Boston Butts, served with my homemade BBQ sauce (it’s to DIE for, trust me!) Have Baked Beans, bread, Corn on the Cob and maybe salad again. Does this sound good enough so far? I could easily change the menu. It’s not set in stone of course!
Food (Breakfast/lunch)… I figured everyone would be doing some driving or whatnot and would grab breakfast/lunch out. (If people are actually UP that early! LOL!) OR I could probably set something up for lunch. Hot Dogs? Ham Burgers? Cold Cut Sandwiches?

PLEASE, Contact me ASAP if you think/know you will be able to attend! I have plenty to do and not wanting to wait to the last minute for the major planning! Sooner the better! I have a Proposal from Fontana Village that I have signed. So we ARE locked in for that weekend! IF I need to reserve more cabins, it would be easier to do so, whenever I can have an official head count! Please email me at Slariviere@vitex.com
CHEERS!

Two trips to NC in one year is a lot for some people, especially down here in FL. I personally might just stick to waiting and going back next May... I know that a lot of the 350z Club of FL peeps were discussing going back for this though.

that is a long drive from FL but there is enough local Z's to make this event worth the time

lol! I think he wants to wait until May... But he's definitely bringing the SRT-8 to tear up the dragon!!

I probably won't make it in October, but I'm not missing May's ZdayZ!

Several people were (including myself) at the spring Zdayz! Honestly, I felt that the 370Z was a bit more fun down there than the GTR. The GTR can't really stretch its legs as much on the dragon as it can on an actual road course. But that's just my little opinion. Both were tons of fun!!
