Default Jacksonville FL Exhaust Shop

Not sure how much traffic this section gets, but I am looking to get a custom exhaust done on my altima and was wondering if anybody knows of any good exhaust shops in Jax? I am leaning towards going to Rainbow Muffler on Phillips based on a previous experience, but that was for an install and not a custom job. If anybody has had any custom work done in Jax let me know...I'm hoping to go get some estimates this weekend, so the sooner the better on the responses

Thanks
Matt

I had Rainbow muffler remove the resonator on my g35 and somehow they pulled the exhaust in too far and made the replacement pipe too short. I ended up having a rattle and my exhaust tips were no longer flush with the bumper. Wasnt really pleased with the work and they basically charged $40 for a piece of straight pipe to be welded in.

My suggestion is try JR's muffler in Orange Park. He's a little further out of the way, but his prices are reasonable and does good work. Btw, if you need mandrel bent piping you're out of luck. None of the muffler shops in jax have a mandrel bender.

thanks black sedan. I got a quote from them of $350-550 for 2.25" dual pipes, 2 glasspacks, and either 2 borla 4" tips($350) or 2 borla mufflers + tips($550). I feel that this is a pretty reasonable deal. I do have to bring in my own u-bend from the rear header(fwd vq35 lol) as well as a magnaflow resonated x pipe.

It will be difficult for me to get to JRs, but maybe I will have time tomorrow. I work and live in Lake City and the gf works/lives in jax, but we will see what my schedule will be like tomorrow

Thanks again for the tip
