Default New to 350z and Charlotte area

Hey guys, I recently picked up a 2003 350z, that I plan on doing a complete overhaul on in the coming year..but for the mean time, im just trying to get it running. I had to put new injectors in as the old ones were removed when i bought it.

I, for the life of me, cannot get the fuel injector harnesses to attach to the injectors... I feel like this should of been the easiest part, but have no idea what im not doing, or im doing wrong...if someone could help me out in person or just a response here, that would be great!!!

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! and ill keep you all posted on my build!

You might try posting some pictures of your injectors and the harness. Since there were no injectors in the car when you bought it, there is no telling what the prior owner had done to the car.

yea i know he had a SC kit which was removed..but kind of a mess in the engine bay, with a unknown oil leak...either way, i think they are the correct injectors but not sure on harnesses?

IF. The car had forced induction, and you can't connect the injectors to the harness, it's likely that higher capacity injectors were run through another/aftermarket harness, and he took the blower and injectors to resell but not the wiring. Leaving you to figure it out.

If that's the case, try Courtesyparts.com in TX, or a salvage yard. Let us know what you find!

for the injectors, i bought remanufactured ones for the time being, so i think they are right, but from google images, im thinking you may be right about the harnesses..ill do some more research and see what i can dig up

EDIT: I determined that he used to have RC injectors in there..would these have required a different harness?

That was fast haha. I was wrong about the 1st part, plugs and injectors. Plugs and coilpaks would be correct, but if you are sure you have ordered the correct injectors you are right w looking at harness connections.

haha yea im trying to figure this mess out just to get it running before i start building it...but I heard back from the kid i bought it from who said he never changed out the harness...so now im wondering if its my injectors? or if im overcomplicating plugging in the harnesses.. going to try and see if a local auto store has them in stock, and compare the ones i have to the correct ones
