I will also be leaving Friday evening and staying at the Smokey Mtn. Inn. Me and another friend with a sweet silver E46. He is on DTMPower website and goes by ZMAERD. Look me up Saturday before the drive Andy. Mine is the bone stock SB 350 with painted doorhandles. Also I can PM you my cell phone # if you like.

HMMMM, maybe they spent too much money on the BMW's and can't afford to pay for the webhosting!!! Na, joking aside I know he and I will be there and as far as anyone else from there I am not too sure about. But it looks like a well planned and fun event. I hope the weather will hold out for us. Thanks for hosting the event and will see you Saturday!

The trend with the weather lately has been sunny in the morning and afternoon, then scattered showers around 5-6pm. So regardless IF it says its going to rain on Saturday, it will more than likely be scattered showers in the later afternoon

Most people are getting a room here:
Stony Creek motel # 800 926-1196

It's located in Maggie Valley which is minutes from Cherokee, and it gets a 100 rating for quality. Rooms are $75-80 a night.... oh yea and the owner of the place drives an Evo8

Now, I am hoping my movers dont show up to Sunday, so I can drive with you all!!!!

We've told everybody about that hotel, so i wouldn't be surprised if it is booked. Some more of us are staying at the Hampton Inn across from the Casino... Kinda pricey but we got a hook-up, so be warned! But there are plenty of other hotels in Cherokee and Maggie Valley. Just give Stoney Creek another call and ask them for the nearest nice hotel, if they don't give out any names that's bad business on their part.

It sounds like it depends on who you talked to. When I called, the lady on the phone started to tell me they had no more rooms they could book for a single night. Her husband was nearby and overheard I was with the car group and told her to let me book for a single night.

By now, they're probably just plain full, tho...

Yeah, I think that was the deal, I didn't say that I was with the car group. But I did talk with 2 different people and they both told me they were booked.

Sean...

Sadly, your information is correct. I was riding shotgun in GQ's Z when it happened.
