Friday afternoon, while installing my new suspension, ONE of the front-left wheel studs appeared to spin without cycling out of the stud (thanks to RZMotoring lol); apparently, their only protocol was to KEEP GOING until both the lug nut (stripped from the inside) and the wheel stud were stripped from the wheel hub itself.

The lug nut appears to have spun slightly at about 1/2 an inch, leaving the stripped stud dangling in my wheel.

I was thinking of either drilling through the center of the closed-head lug nut or taking out all of the other lug nuts off; seperating the wheel with as much rear gap as possible and turning the steering towards the right, so that I could perhaps fit a thin blade saw in between the rear of the wheel and the wheel hub.

Any ideas...

By the way, anyone who is willing to take on this mission.... "I WILL" compensate you. And yes, that means with green paper lol.

Thanks bro's
Can you take the car back to RZ some how?
Where do you live, maybe I can swing by and take a look if your not to far....I have to pick up my kids in the afternoon from school.

Forget the green paper....how about some C4....it's for the mother inlaw

I think he is saying that the stud and lug are both spinning free. If that is the case, you need to take off all the other lugs and see if you can tilt your wheel so to put pressure on that lug and cause it to stick. If you can do that you might get lucky with an impact and spin it off. I had something similar happen when i had the shop. It is a B***h to get off. Only other option is to freeze it with a coolant and try to crack it.. OR you can look for one of those big trucks, like the Matco guy and stop them.. They always have something new.. Might have something you can buy and use..

Default Thanks Manny...

RZ kinda brushed their hands off, and I pretty much gave them the opportunity to do what they felt like doing. This lets me see what kind of character I'm dealing with and what kind of character NOT to deal with in the future. No biggy. They're on my **** list as of Friday. I'm not one to hold grudges, but, when you f**k me, you get f***ed 3 times fold. The fact that it may have not been entirely their fault, tjat's understandable, but the fact that you offer no advise, assistance or any kind of direction, but "ohhh, you can buy new wheels from us". I dont know about anybody, but when I break something.... my dignity and self respect sets on fixing it or getting someone for you to fix it. "The spirit of car enthusiasm breathes on TEAM WORK and not individuality"

Manny, I live in Altamonte. I dont have a lift either or an enclosed garage. So it looks like I'm doing it old school. I think I'm going to take my front bumper off and turn my wheel the opposit way. I think I can try prying the rear stud head with my death grip and attempt to spin the lug nut off.

Besides lol, what a better garage bay than the one my creator ( G o d ) has provided. I'll have ants and little bugs crawling all over me.......... BEAUTIFUL.... - Gets the special forces Marine out of me....... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default Hey guys...

Pesci, Manny and all of you who have responded.... "thank you" for taking the time to try to assist me. Means a lot to me....

By the way, does anyone have a "new" contact number for Hector (he's the one with the cheesburger Z). I have his disconnected number only.

Well, Ive had a couple studs do that to me at the dealership and the way i get them out is to put a impact on the stud/lug and then put pressure on the wheel, and just let my gun whale on it (1000 pft of reverse torque ftw ) If you have a compressor and need me to get to you I might be able to make it there on friday if no one else can help you out, it would be in the late afternoon though.

Also for Z fest this saturday do I need to enter my car? Or do I just show up and pay the entry fee to be a visitor?

Nissan did not set the front toe right from the factory on the 03 thru some 05 350Z's. All it amounts to is a simple reseting of the front toe to -1.0 degree on both sides to correct the issue. It will not affect the handling of the Z it just keeps your tires from eating themselves in less then 10,000 miles.

I BELIEVE IT WAS ROGER'S NEW KIT THAT I FIRST NOTICED THE "TRIMMED" TAG DUE TO THE EURO KIT....I WOULD NOT HAVE NOTICED HAD HE NOT MENTIONED IT TO ME...IM SURE THERE ARE OTHER WAY TO FRAME THE TAG TO MAKE IT LOOK REAL GOOD. ANYWAY..
