I see your point but I also understand why some might not want to bring their car after spending lots of time and money to get it ready for the show. I think they (including me) just want to enjoy and not stress out. I thought the "pre-party" was to party and not to show.

Umm, I didn't think they came off seperatly. I've taken my panel off a couple times and the grill always stayed on.

I'm driving mine and I'm coming in on Friday night and going back to lkld that night. And YES turn around and drive over again in the mornin....Only live about 20-25 min. away...But the bugs won't be to bad at night and hell if you live in town what bugs!!(luv bugs)....Yes sprinklers can get crazy but it could do the same when you drive over in the morning..Reed Nissan SPRINKLERS!!!!! ooohhh nnnoo didn't mean to fright anyone

It will be a good time anyway!!!!

I'll be bringing a Z just not the 350 on Fri. I just waited 2 months for my new bumper so I'm not taking any chances. I don't have the best of luck with these things. Don't worry there will be plenty of time on Sat. to check out everything.

Never did say it was a "show" just said that it was a Z & G meet....why would I take my camry or my nissan pick up to this meet???

I do understand if we were going to be leaving the car unattended for a long peirod of time, then I would not be going at all.

I think that (in my opion) some people are taken it just a bit to far.....

I modded my car to my taste and love to show it at meets and other activities... In closing, I bought the Z to drive not to keep it in the garage....

Look you moda fookas. me out of all of us has had some fooked up luck but im still bringing my shiznit out i think i will be next to my car about 85% of the time too though but i also understand that no everyone wants to bring out your big surprises but oh well if you do you do if you dont you dont but no matter what if something is going to happen to your car its gonna happen no matter what wether its friday or a month from now or even a year from now its gonna happen oh well spoke my pedaso of the pie WOOOOHOOOO Z FEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand both points of view, I to love to show off the Z especially at the meets, it's like show & tell for kids in school.
HOWEVER, what about those that have had there cars in hibernation due to modding and just got there car this week like myself, the last thing I would want is to destroy, scratch, scrap, crack....etc anything before the big show, that will definitely **** me off.
Anyway like Ron said "to each there own"
most importantly we go meet some great people see SOME... good Z's before the show.

I just figured to add in to this that I approach my car the same way as Rich. I understand the desire to save the car for 'Special' occasions. But once I got my turbos, man the car was just too much fun to NOT drive it. I take it everywhere and try to enjoy it as much as I can. Hell, for what is cost me I should be living in the damn thing.

Anyway, as Ron always says... The key is just to have fun. Enjoy your weekend guys, sounds like it will be a great weekend.

damn...again a day or two im gone and the madness begins...Thing have not been great this week for me but I'm hoping the weekend will bring a lot of stressless hours....My car will DEF be there on fri. I've had extra scratches, dings, rock chips and a whole lotta sh*t happenin on my car lately not to mention the other things goin on....But anyway....My Z will be there even if I have to push it to pointe orlando and drag it to Z fest.
Me and my daily driver...will be there...
Lou..call me when you get a chance...have you been able to figure out what you're gonna do with the house thing?
