LoL, we have no 5AT specialists at nissan. I can decipher the service manuals well enough to figure out a problem though.

 

Well Santa Delivered me 4 new 20" rims today.. I'd love to show them to you all, but it seems that someone stole them before I got home.. YEP all four rims are gone.. Just my luck... You just have to laugh..

 

Seriously??? Wow. That sucks!!! Let me guess...UPS left them sittting at your front door?

Pesci, please tell me you had shipping insurance on those wheels. Why the hell did UPS leave those things at the door any how? Thats just stupid, I thought on high dollar items that are shipped like that they dont leave them at the door. Albeit Im not sure if its a dollar limit on the value of the package or if you have to specify with whomever it is your buying from or the shipping company that you dont want it left at the front door.

 

I have had UPS leave big/expensive things at my door many times. They once left a set of tires in front of my door, and put my welcome mat on top of the tires. Idiots. Luckily nothing has been taken yet. What I find really stupid is that we ordered a pair of shoes for my husband online once, and they didn't leave those at the door...had to go to the shipping place and pick them up.

 

Well fed ex did that with me when I ordered tires for my old spec v, they just dropped them at the front door and threw the mat over it. My dad and I just rolled our eyes cuz you could still see the tires plain as day from the damned street.

 

Man that sucks Chris... Hope you get it worked out.

 

That is why I have everything shipped to my work, that sucks sorry to hear that. Well I'm sure that everything will get replaced but it will just take longer now. Happy waiting

Have to wait till 10 for them to get to the office. I filed a police report last night , just so i can try to prove to them that I am not scaming them.. Fingers crossed.. But I am pissed !!!! I am going to leave work early just to drive around my block and see if anyone possibly took them and threw the boxes away..

Follow Up: Well as luck would have it, they sent the rims with no added insurance.. So best case senerio is $400.. It just keeps getting better and better.. hahahahhah

Sorry Chris, that sucks big time. That's why I waited at home when DHL delivered my rims. I'm surprised that the shipper didn't require an adult signature.

Next time, have them delivered to yours or Heather's work, or take the day off.

im assuming you hadn't paid with paypal....i think they have $1000 insurance automatically for just using them.....WOW.....
