If anybody is deadset on buying an iphone, I would wait at least 6 months for any bugs/flaws to be ironed out. Its the same thing that happened with RAZR and Samsung Blackjack, two hyped up cingular phones that were released with problems.
Also keep in mind that if you plan on using this for browsing, it will not be fast as you think as the iphone uses the GPRS/EDGE (220 to 320 kbps)network which is not Cingular's fastest. It won't until its second revision comes out next year (march) which will take advantage of UTMS.
The cingular 8525 that Randon mentioned uses Cingular's fastest network (UTMS/HSDPA 400 to 700 kbps) and in my oppinion is a better smart/pda type phone due to its features and pocket pc capability. BUT it is almost $500 bucks if you are buying without a 2 year plan. Expensive phone just like Treo 750 ($600)

Well guys I hope everyone is doing good.
Definitely not going to make the FMF show and most likely not the SBN either.
