lol that sux I guess im not the only one having oil consumption problems.that makes me feal better damn revups

yea, right now i have had 2 oil changes on full synthetic and for some reason about week 2 my dipstick would say low again coming from a nominal level. I dunno why, i heard it was the way VTC works in the revup that causes the engine to burn more oil somehow. But , im taking it in thurs morning for a oil consumption test. The car runs great, but better safe then sorry. The revup is better then the 287. But its oil consumption isnt lol.

 

I was just messing with you... I know the '06 is better than the previous ones. Hope they fix that problem very soon!!

 

yea, right now im speculating on the exact problem, but well see if i do have a problem. Im not gonna lie my car has seen 7k quite often. So well see if driving like a old lady z lol would be any different. Hopefully not because i wanna mod her .

 

Did you break her in properly? Its really hard for me now...almost there.

IMOA u should wait till the first oil change (3,500 miles) that should complete ur break-in...

 

looks who talking mrs daytona lol , of course for 1500 miles she never saw 4k. But as soon as she saw around 3k she got dyno'd at per factory for a baseline and i had a couple of races. I have never gotten her above 110mph acutually maybey i did pricilla when i beat that g35 guy that day. lol. I dont race her much. But theres a certain HR thats bin buggin me latly i dunno. It would either be honerable death or a sparta victory. lol

 

23,000 on my '06 rev-up and no problems.
