Hey guys not sure if you know but Rob Hollar (Zpresence) has passed way up there.

I knew Rob from the early days of the 350Z when we both had some of the first 350Z's in 2002 and I met him at a couple of Zfests in Orlando and he did most of the painting on the accents on my 350Z (Rear Strut bar cover, stock gauge covers, all engine covers and front Z emblem) he was an awesome painter and person.

Looks like he was the victim of street racing, but not as some may think he was actually innocently driving in the opposite direction of the racers one of whom lost control and crossed the median and killed his passenger plus Rob.

Amazing, don't have many words to say I am speechless.

Are you serious?????? This is news to me, I'm shocked. Robbed painted my body kit and door handles a while back, I can't believe this...

 

HORRIBLE news!!! Very sad to hear. Rob had become a father about a year ago and had just gotten an NSX. RIP

 

I know how you feel it was hard for me to believe, so sad I know he had some hard times but the last couple of years things seemed to be working out for him nicely.

 

it wasnt even his fault , ...thats the sad part. On a day as crowded as xmas time on the highway some would dare try some sht like street racing. Its really beyond me.

 

This is very, very sad news. I remember him well when I first joined OZOC and he was very friendly and just a good guy. My deepest condolences to his family and may he rest in peace. Life is so fragile.

 

its crazy that no matter how safe you really are the accident can come at you reguardless. Be safe people 350z or whatever ..nothing really prepares you for something like that. Take it easy fellas and peeps.

My condolences to his family. I never had the chance to meet Rob personally but heard lots of good things about him. RIP.

My condolences to the family, Rob was a member of OZOC at one point long ago. I saw the obituaries this morning and thought that was him but then saw a little girl also who passed and I closed it cause I hate to hear of children passing away.......crazy



This is truly sad news, second friend down this year due to drag racing period.
Now you have a father & mother who lost a son, a brother or sister who lost there brother, and a little girl who lost her daddy due to someone else’s stupidity and negligence.

 

 

This is the worst news, Rob was so happy to be a father and really happy when he got the NSX. I went for a ride when he first got it. I'm gonna really miss him, we used to hang all the time.

WoW, that sucks, Heather and I were good friends with Rob and his girl at the time when Heather and I first met and I had my shop. Rob got me started in the Z's and was the reason why I joined my350z. He battled some demons at one time and last time I saw him at HIN he was doing good and looked happy. I think the part that Sucks is he wasn't even racing, he was just driving. Thats the problem no a days, All of these teens that have been driving for a year or two and think that they are experienced drivers and know how to handle a car. Condolences to his family..... Wish I had saw this earlier, I would have liked to have attended the services.
