So I was on 50 last night around ferncreek and I see headlights coming from the other direction that looked weird. It passes and my jaw drops and I see a beautiful black GTR. Damn near broke my neck staring!

Figured it out yesterday.. Give or take with paint and installation charges.. old rims and old body kit, Im at about $11k invested into the car... Ive had the car for a year and 4 months..

Im close to done..

 

i have a ledger, ive spent 1,074.38 on mine. I always get my stuff for the cheap and thats including my rims and tires. Thats less then most everyone spends on their rims alone lol.

 

17's will cost less... hehe jk

Yeah, 2nd hand is a miracle worker on parts. I have resold items a year later for almost the same as i payed for them, and have likely saved myself a good 5-6k on mods now by going with used items.

Just gotta do the research and make sure you are getting good condition items.

 

Rich are you driving the Z up here or are trailering it?

 

Hope you r not toooo close to done bc u said you wanted first dibs on my CF hood. Well..... you got pm. BTW...Stephen has first dibs on the Maya GR5 wheels but I still have to talk to him about any possible deal. Pretty much I'll be looking for a trade and $$. I would prefer some 18" stock wheels with decent to excellent tire tread. So if Stephen passed on this you guys know what I'll be looking for. I'm not posting pixs because you OZOC people know about the conditions. If these items don't stay with the club then I'll post pixs and prices on the For Sale section later.

 

Almost forgot..... I already got my stock bumpers so the Ings front and rear are for sale. $400 obo will do the trick. Front is urethane rear is fiberglass. OZOC got first dibs!!

Thanks Chris, I love you too... lol. I'm still in need of a rear seat to go pick up my daughters on weekends after the divorce goes thru, but I'm laying more now to keep the Z, do a complete re-mod and get a DD, but not sure what to get yet. Even without the Z I would go to the meets and hang out with you guys. I'll just park my GT-R away from the Z's (j/k) Like Rich said to me the other day, OZOC is more like a fraternity than a Z club.

 

Juan, I would highly recommend that you get a DD and keep that beautiful car...

You have spend so much time and effort on ur Z that it would be a shame to get rid of it due to the circumstances....

I know it must be rough for u right now with all that ur going through, stay strong, focus on whats ahead and not behind u... Remember that we're here for u always as friends, family, brotherhood, OZOC 4life
