Cool I used to drive up that way every day for work (commuted from the Orlando airport to Leesburg). You should try to make it out to a meet sometime. We are having a track night at Orlando Speed world on Weds July 25

Cruised with this guy most of the way home last night on 441 east/south. CF roof/hatch/hood, nice wheels but I couldn't tell what brand, red lugs, exhaust, M/T. Oh and the license plate frame said "I <3 Driving Slow"... is that anyone on here?

 

ill check my work schedule. I work 8pm to 8am. 4 days on and 4 off. so hopefully it will mesh

 

Track meet???

 

Just found out that I may be here for another 2 years. This really changes things. I am seriously thinking of selling the car at this point. I have already spend $2400 on storage fees up to this point. If I keep her that will be another $3600 in storage fees. I just dont know if its worth keeping her. She has been sitting on stands since APR 2009 in storage. As much as I hate to say it, I might just need to let her go. Right now she is doing nothing but collecting dust and costing me cash.

I looked at the cars that were for sale and it seems like $20K is a reasonable price to ask. I put out a feeler on the for sale page to test interest. If I dont get any feelers I will just hold on to here and part her out. There is no way I would let her go for cheaper than 20K, I could get way more than that just by selling all the parts.

I figured I would post here as well to gauge interest.

I put a deposit down on a apartment this week in Kissimmee off John Young Blvd. I will be moving down there mid-august. Looking forward to seeing all the other beautiful Z's around!

Hey guys, the meet is at Bithlo, OSW.... Unfortunately I learned that they don't do it on Wednesdays anymore, so we will be going on Friday of this week instead. Sorry for the confusion!

 

For those who want to come there will be a Cars and Cafe meet in Orlando Fl at 8620 South Orange Blossom Trail from 9am-2pmish on July 28th (Saturday). for those that want to meet up my number is 321.289.9758. Z brothers/Sisters Unite! This is the same meet that used to be held in Sanford, they've just moved location.

I'm currently in Las Vegas, but will be moving down to winter park mid to late September, I'm glad to see there is a nice Z community down there and look forward to meeting all of you!

 

ah man i just saw this, i would have loved to go.

Ive been super busy getting my shop set up so i would have loved to go blow off some steam...maybe next time...is there a regular Z meet in orlando?

official unofficial annoucment that there will be a second Mech Tech meet mid september. This is the same location as cars and coffee in orlando. last mech tech meet we had over 300+ cars. we actually ran out of parking.

 

Need some help working on my Z guys.. I dont have a good place to jack it up at my apartment and Just moved down here from NY. really need to get underneath it to check a exhaust issue. I am on John Young near the Loop in kissimmee. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.

 

I grew up in Orlando and moved to Virginia about 10 years ago. Now I am living back in Central Florida and I've got to ask...What happened to all of the tuner shops? It seems like everything is out of business. That also goes for the audio shops. Not that this is my thing anymore but I use to work at an audio shop in Orlando and it seems like it and most of the competitors are all gone now. I know the economy has been rough but that seems crazy for such a large city with a good car scene. I don't even know of any tuner shops in the Orlando area anymore.
