Thinkin about taking a job in West Palm Beach...

I'm thinking about taking a job in West Palm Beach, Fl...

Can anybody tell me anything about the city/surrounding area, good place to live (i'll more than likely be renting), anything i might need to know, etc ...

Why West Palm?
The Villages (palm beach lakes) is a nice area around there. It's west of I-95. Basically a large "community" of various apartment complexes. Really nice...at least it was back in '97 when I lived there.
