So I bring my Z to the dealer for its 22,000 mile checkup, and the tech tells me I have a bent crossmember.

From what I could tell, it's bent a little, but not severely.

So my questions are:

1)Is it worth the $900 the dealer wants to charge me to get the crossmember replaced?

2) Is it really a $900 job, or is the dealer ripping me off?

3) If I let it go, is the crossmember in danger of failing somehow?
