Oh yeah, I only plan on staying until it gets crowded, which will be about the same time as when I need to leave. Either location will be fine with me, but I will wait to see.

On another note, I have seen on another Z board that there is a meet tomorrow at 10:00 @ Westwoods Golf Course in Arvada. I don't know any of these guys, well except Juztin, but I'm thinking of stopping by to shoot the **** for a little bit. If anyone else is interested, just let me know.

Thanks for all the kind thoughts. I'll relay them to Linda. She is having a hip replaced and should be in the hospital until Wednesday. She won't be able to even get in the Z or the Acura for 4-6 weeks. She won't be allowed to drive for about 2 months. It looks like the truck will get some miles. No, I won't make her ride in the bed. She can get in and out with the help of a stepstool and should have no trouble riding in it. I'll keep you all posted on her progress. Again, thanks for the good wishes and drink a beer or two for Linda.

Either location is fine by me Gary, but downtown might suit another BY I met today. Hopefully she'll be able to attend. Does anyone have addresses I can use to MapBlast the location? I haven't been to either one... thanks!

Greg-- Great to here from you.

Craig-- Sorry to here the news.

I've been MIA due to laziness to actually spend some time with this PC to try to remedy the total meltdown to the point of no boot-up screen.

North is good work related obligations providing.

Lets just pull the trigger and say 7:00pm at the Rock Bottom in Westminster since more people prefer that location then the other.

Although, for those of us who like eye candy, the downtown location is outstanding.

I agree (on all counts.) Looks like we've got more preference for Westminster this time (although it sounds like the weather forecast could make things interesting.)

7 at Rock Bottom in Westminster...I'll see everyone there!

Linda had her surgery today and all went well. The whole thing took about an hour and she was back in her room by 1:00 pm. The doc says everything is good and she should be able to come home Wednesday. I still don't think she'll be up to a ride in the Z. In fact the Doc says she can't bend hip more than 90 deg. for a couple of months so. That means no Z and no Acura. He figures about two months of recuperative time before she can resume anything near normal activity.
I want to thank everyone for all the good wishes and I'll be seeing you down the road at the next get together.

I hear ya... traffic will be a BIACH from Parker. But then we're not the only ones traveling from down here. Just take along some Mozart, or other soothing music, for the trip... and think about a place to have it down here next time, eh?

I'll try and make it, I really want to catch up with you guys and here from David and Gary about PMI, upcoming track days etc. But, my wife and I have some plans for that evening and I don't know if we'll be done by then. I might just show up late.

I may just be over protective, but I am hesitant to drive my baby through the kind of weather forecasted for this evening (hail and tornado watch). As long as the weather does not turn too bad I plan on still making it to the Rock Bottom, but I will probably drive the beater truck..

Hopefully the forecasters are wrong (as they often are), and the weather gets nicer as the day progresses.

I have already experienced one hail scare while driving in the Z and I don't care to relive the nightmare..

Chris,

I hear you. I'm not a fan of taking the Z out in bad weather either, and with my bald rear tires it's doubtful whether my Z would even be drivable on wet roads. So depending on what it looks like this evening, I too might be driving my alternate vehicle. I guess we'll see.

I'll be in mine due to having to go do some racing beforehand. I'll have my fingers crossed and my *** clenched.

Yea, I am starting to agree with the "over protection" theory. I think I'll skip this one out. We had some small hail in Aurora, and not for long, but who knows what else looms ahead. I think I'll sit this one out, and just look forward to the next time.

Although I got called into work last night I feel ya Beeman. Way too risky, unless you need a new paint job and your insurance company is willing to pay for it up front, eh!

So... did anybody take notes last night?
