So if I understand you are looking for the whole console done? In that case have it professionally smoothed and painted. The texturing ***** up the vinyl adherence as does the constant bumping it with you elbow and what not.

 

ya i figured i should just get it painted..how much do you think it would be to paint the entire console say silver or whatever color?

 

The cost is not going to be in the painting but in the sanding and smoothing (body filler) of the piece. Plus of course removal and replacement of all the little pices. If you want to do the gauges to the end of the shift finisher (were it joins the armrest area) you're looking at 350 and the entire unit for 450.

I have seen another Z that the guy did and it is GREAT looking. Awesome quality.
