I am a new Z owner ('06 Redline GTc) here in Denver, and since I've missed the first two drives of this season, I want to meet all of you and see your cars. What do you say we organize a little meet and greet? Nothing elaborate. Just a venue for all of us gather at and chat about our cars. No big demands on anyone's time. An hour should be enough if everyone comes on time.

Locations: I have several in mind. The best one would be by Jason's Deli in Meadows, where you all assembled for the 04/30 drive. It is a nice open area away from all the congestion, plus anyone can grab some grub if needed. Also, it will be easier for 'Springs members to join us there since its closer. Alternate locations can be the DU campus, I-25 and Castle Pines (HUGE Safeway lot+Wendys/StarBux nearby), anywhere off I-225. If you think of others, let me know.

Date: Entirely upto the group. We can easily meet on weekdays as it won't be a long duration anyway to strain anyone's schedules. 6-7pm +/- 30 minutes? Will give us plenty of time of sunlight.

What do you guys think? I would really like meeting you all and your Zs.

I'm in but sadly I'm only free in the mornings Thurs-Mon. Tues & Weds anytime.

 

I can do weekends or around 6:30pm on weekdays except for tuesdays.

 

I would be there if I could. Hopefully meet you when I return. Keep an eye out in Sept for a Mac Auto Z Dyno Day.

 

I'm up for it, depending on when you decide to schedule it.
A suggestion would be maybe a bar/restaurant we could meet at rather then just a parking lot. Also maybe a weekend, or a bit later in the evening to better accomadate everyone's schedules.

I'm from Miami but will be in Estes Park the next two weeks. Don't know where ANYTHING is, including those areas you are talking about (denver area I guess) but if anything is near me, give me a heads up and I will see what I can make!

I agree. That's why Park Meadows (north side of County Line) is my first choice. Rock Bottom is just on the other side of the lot from Jason's Deli. We could all meet outside that instead if needed.

But like I said, location and dates are upto you guys. Whatever is most convenient for most people is fine with me. I live in Castle Rock so anything south of dTown will work.

It seems that whether we choose a weekday or weekend, at least some members will not be able to attend due to work. That sucks...but let's choose a day when most people can come. My hours are pretty generic...free after 5 Monday-Friday and all day on weekends.

This would be our first meet of the summer. Let's get as many people involved as possible! If any of you know Z32/Z31 owners, let them know.

Good to know that you're in town. Did you drive all the way from FL just for two weeks? Wow!

Estes Park is well north of Denver. It will be roughly a 1.5hr drive for you. But if you can come, that'll be awesome. So I take it you are here until early May? Let us know.

 

fly no drive and I get moved around all summer for a job. Thats right, I'm Z-less for 2 months, I am in withdrawl already!
