Default Anyone up for a meet @ Bandimere

So tomorrow night I know for sure Devildog, one of my cousins and myself will be at Bandimere Speedway for a little track fun.

Anyone else going to be there as well? The season will be dwindling to a close here soon, better jump on this while you can. Hope others can make it out, maybe we can grab some beers afterward.

I'd be interested in making the trip up there just to watch more than anything. Maybe next week though, I'm saving myself for PMI this Friday. What is the entry fee and are there any regulations other than a helmet? I assume you're just doing the quarter-mile, right?

If you bring the car the way it is you will be fine passing all inspections. As for the helmet, at the speeds the Z's turn, it's not neccessary. But you can wear one if you like.

Fee is $35.00 and yes, it's a 1/4 mile drag race

Hey guys, I had some very poor planning on my part which I will explain tonight. I will be there, just minus the Z due to my work schedule. I will be there to help anyone or offer advice to anyone who shows up.

So who else is going?

I'd be up for a meet tonight at the track (or at least for beers afterward). I won't have my Z and won't be racing, but I wouldn't mind hanging out with fellow Z'ers (and others).

Brian - what time are y'all meeting at the track? I might have to work late, so call my cell if you leave before I get there, and let me know if/where you're going for drinks.

Sounds like this is probably a bad night for everyone. We'll have to catch up next time.

Brian, @ what speed do you need to wear a helmet, they made me wear one! is that because of F/I?

Glad you guys couldn't make it. All hell broke loose for me today and it ended up being a bad night. Sorry. I wasn't there either. Looks like nobody made it out.

For forced induction you need a fire jacket and helmet. Otherwise it's 13.99 or quicker.

Nonsense....................I have made probably 500 runs down that track and still have the same stack clutch. Although you will never smell mine burning either because I try real hard to somewhat baby it.
