In my opinion, this is the most promising of all the new track 'rumors' (I think there were 4 at last count).
These guys already have approval & permits from the county, they seem to have the most solid and realistic plan and location in place (the land that this track will be on has a lot more elevation change than you would think possible in eastern Colorado). The guys involved know their market, and seem to know how to do something like this right, in fairly stark contrast to the other new track proposals out there.
As with most things, getting the money will be the biggest obstacle. But from what I've heard, they seem to have a pretty good handle on that, too.

They'll probably set it up as several shorter layouts that can be combined into the full track, to provide for variety, and also to allow for different parts of the track to be in use at the same time, by different organizations. That seems to be the current trend; and there also seems to be a bit of an arms race going on right now with newer tracks to see who can build the longest track in North America.
I really like the geographic location of this track...it's relatively close to Denver (with a pretty good shortcut from the Springs, too), but also right on a major Interstate to attract traffic from other states (Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, etc.)
It'll be very interesting to watch this one come together.

Yeah! I'm getting excited! Looks like they want to get everyone in. Drag, track etc... Hopefully they work something out better than PMI with the straight, wall, and tree hump.
