350Z & S2000 Cruise
Sorry y'all, didn't get any time at all to post my pics over the weekend. Will do so this evening.
Thanks again to Robert for setting this up. We had a blast! The breathtaking speed and curves while going up Lookout Mountain made me feel as though I were in a video game...incredible fun!
I was also glad to meet the S2K crowd; some very nice folks indeed.
On a side note, Justin, when you blasted past the whole pack on 285 on the way to Red Rocks, my wife, awestruck, went, "Wow! What the heck does he have?". I said, ''a TT kit". She went, "I don't know what that is, but GET IT! GET IT! Forget about the plasma (been saving)". I couldn't stop laughing!

The plasma debate is a large one, and there are a couple designed to work up here, but IMO i wouldnt do it. Even though the high alti plasma is nice, its a TON of money when you can get a better picture for haft. Plasma as some know is the fourth state of matter. Its basic concept is the plasma is super heated between two sheets of glass at pressure. With the elevation change it changes how the plasma is worked inside of the tv. what this causes is a steep decline in all the working parts. It eats up electricty and gets this humming effect from the glass. the plasma also heats up and get pretty darn warm. The cooling fans on most plasmas will kick in hard and run so if you mute the tv you will hear a loud buzzing sound like a computer fan. Other things to keep in mind, plasma will burn in if you leave the image on for two long, just like crts. They are also 100% more costly to repair becuse of the nature of the mechanics. Service on them can triple your costs. They are also heavier when thinking about to mount them as they are two giant pieces of glass. These are all several reasons i always give advantage to LCD tvs which i currently own. You want a full run down or helping finding something im glad to help people out just PM me so we dont run this thread in another direction to much =)

True that, Justin
Phu, on the plasma issue, check this article as well: http://www.plasmatvbuyingguide.com/p...-altitude.html
They even use Denver as an example!

Alright. Pix as promised.

Here's the best pic I could take of two women behind me at a stoplight on Hamden who suddenly noticed that a lot of the cars around them looked the same and were pointing all over like mad!
