Default Ok Colorado crew..... Plenum Yey!!! or Ney!!!?

Ok I am bored out of my mine because I am on leave til the 4th with nothing to do, so I will spend money to entertain myself. I can't afford FI right now, but I don't mind blowing a few hundred bucks on this. Is it worth it?

The cool part is Altered Atmosphere is just 35 minutes away from base so I can just drive up to get it and not have to order it!

the crawford plenum definitely was one of the 2 mods that I could actually feel when I first had it installed n/a. I definitely recommend it.

Can't say about the plenum spacer though. I'm going off of my experience from the Crawford V1, the old school one that I still have on my car. It made a huge difference on the top end, it kept pulling to redline unlike w/ the stock plenum where the power would just fall on it's face. The crawford plenum's have been dyno proven, just do a search for them. Myself I did the plenum w/ test pipes/exhaust pre-cam nismo cam and went from 230 to 250 on Bear's dynojet. With the nismo cams it went to 262 on the dynojet @ PFI. Test pipes, and the crawford plenum where the ONLY mods that my *** dyno could actually feel. Just for what it's worth that's where i'd spend my money on n/a mods. Even the cam's didn't feel any faster after getting those installed.

I'm the second vote for something else. I say get the Motordyne Iso Thermal 5/16" spacer instead. Or spring for the whole MREV2 assembly from Motordyne.

I think they are all sort of worthless IMO. ive been in several cars with the spacer and couldnt tell a diff, and ive yet to have seen a proven dyno sheet that really shows the gains most of these setups promise. Just increasing the area over the top does not increase power, you need to watch that with an intake, larger throttle body and other stuff, yada yada. Just my IMO. Ill be a beliver one of these days.

I'm for it, but do they have a polished one so you can leave your engine cover off?

Motordyne spacer for sure unless you want to save cash and get in on the groupbuy the other 350 site is doing. Like 170 bucks including shipping for a 5/16th spacer. Killer deal. I'm getting one, suppose to ship in the next 2 weeks. I'd link to it, but this site has a feud with them and won't let any links to them post here... pm me your email and I'll hook you up.

Edit: I should have mentioned that they are essentially 'cloning' the motordyne design. Supposedly their dyno results will match or beat the motordyne offering. I was going to get the Motordyne before I discovered the groupbuy and figured I'd save the cash.

You don't have the RevUp do you? If not I say MotorDyne 5/16th w/ ISO gasket. If you do have the RevUp I say MREV2.
