Vegas people!! Who do you insure with?
Just moved here and i have to change my policy to a Nevada policy so i'm canceling my current. The new deal they are giving me is a joke so i'm looking to see what the locals use and get all my quotes in line to see who's best. any tips would be appreciated.
I have never seen cheaper insurance rates for anyone until I switched to Costco's insurance company which in underwritten by American Express.
I have used them now for 2.5 years and I have referred 5 others to them who have switched who also say they are the best rates they have seen.
The catch is you need to be a member of Costco, which alot of people are.
Also, we did have a claim as an uninsured illegal idiot ran into my wife. They were absolutely the eaiest to deal with and had someone at our house the next day to get us set up for repair.

I did and they actually didnt give me the best deal. Better than most but the fact they go back 6 years for history hurt me since i have two not at fault total loss claims. State farm gave me an amazing deal including renters inusance. Thanks for the heads up anyway
I did have Farmer's Insurance. But after my car had the front smashed up and had to deal with them, I would never recommend them to anybody. They made me pay a 1000 dollar deductable on the car because I hadnt claimed the car on my policy yet because it was only 4 days from the purchase date. Then they ended up not even fighting the valet at boulder station that remote started it in gear. They said it wouldnt be worth it from their standpoint. The oly thing I gained out of it was a new Pioneer AVIC-N3 becasuse my N1 was damaged in the accident. After all of this when my policy renewal came they wanted to charge me almost 3200 for 6 months of coverage with a 1250 deductable. I quickly switched over to USAA because they treat the military alot better with way better rates. I'm pretty sure you have to be active duty/reserve/retired military to get them though.
