So Saturday April 14th Bandimere opens for "Tech and Test" Then on April 25th (Wednesday) it's 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. I most likely will do the Sat. 14th day, but I will take the 25th off work to go during the day! That will be an awesome way to spend a day ditching work!! Who's down?

I'm dying to see what all the mods have done to my times, I mean 13's are highly possible now and I may even run my boost @ 9lbs for racing, I have read of many people that do constantly for thousands of miles on the TN with no problems. Final word, I live for spring and summer, and this has been the LONGEST, COLDEST WINTER OF MY LIFE!!!

Knowing this Z group, we NEED 3 months planning! That would be so cool getting like 6 or 7 of us together! I'm like Devildog, I'm bored, snowed in (well he's not), ready to chop my family up and put them in the freezer, so I am looking forward to the spring.
Be prepared for those first 2 weekends at Bandimere to be packed to the gills. Thats when all the regular racers will be there getting everything dialed in for the season after the long winter. You will be lucky to get 5 runs in the 10 or so hours they are open that day.
If it were me I would go to the all day Weds event which will net you far more runs and less crowded facility. More bang for your buck.
With all that said I will be there on opening weekend providing the weather is good that day.

I gotta get ready for the upcoming racing season, there is no way I will miss it.
On another topic. besides Abishop, is anyone else in racing in one of the season long points series Bandimere offers? If so, it would be great to see more of a 350z contingent out there with me and Andrew. It's alot of fun, it's competitive, money can be won and you really aren't risking anything damaging your car. I compare it to getting on a highway at a high rate of speed.
If you are interested, I can provide more info. or vist Bandimere's website.

Well i can tell you my experience, I go Friday nights and run in the Sport Compact class of the E.T. Series. Its not about who goes down the tack the fastest, but who's the most consistent and who has a better reaction time. The top 3 finishers every night usually end up with cash and trophies. If you enter the series at the start you gain points by winning, showing up, ect. The person at the end of the year with the most points wins the championship. Its tons of fun and its not too rough on the car as Mudd said. I would also like to see more Z's at these events also. There are about 7-8 races in the summertime, you can go Fri or Saturday i think. its about $35 every time to enter, but the winner takes home over $100 every night and more for the championship. Sean, i hope you can join us as well as the Denver Z community!
I think Andrew summed it up nicely.
There is a class fit for anyone driving anything. For our cars, there are 3 different classes on Friday nights you could run in. One of them pays big money, (i.e. $1000 to win, then pays a few places after that) but is much more difficult. The other 2 are Sport Compact which Andrew and I run in, and also Street ET, which is any street legal car. I choose Sport Compact because I have won the season championship in that class 3 times in 7 years so I feel I need to defend my legacy.
The Friday series is on 8 different Fridays between late April and the end of August, so it's not a huge commitment.
On Saturday, there are a number of classes you can run in as well. My favorite is the Stick Shifters class. Run on about 5 Saturdays during the summer, it's specifically designed for rear wheel drive cars that are stick shifted. I am the ONLY imported car in this class, part of what makes it so fun for me. This would be so much fun if I could recruit 3-5 more Z's for this class. The class is unique because it allows cars from 7.50secs. to 20.0 secs. to compete. Yes, I have raced a 8.10 et and 160mph door car thats stick shifted before. What a treat it was!!!!
Let me know if you have any other specific questions. I have been racing there since high school and kinda know the routine so let me know if I can help.

It's still bracket racing, but with all these domestics in the class it makes it nice to knock them off.
It also doesn't hurt that the class was designed to keep the imports out of it I think for the most part. Problem is they forgot about some of the imports aren't front wheel drive.
Bandimere didn't come up with this class, the people who put the class together, and also are the title sponser of the class are in the used domestic parts business. They are classic american muscle car diehards and seem to be import haters. So beating them makes it more satisfying.
