JK - I think you'll like that exhaust (did you win the lottery or something)? It sounds great on bottom's car, and seems to be a solid performer throughout the power band.

It reminds me of the time I tried to bribe his mechanic to weld an extra 50 lbs of lead onto his shiny new Tilton flywheel before installing it to slow him down a bit and give the rest of us a chance!!!

I think I'll enjoy the exhaust as well. Seems to be the best one for my needs & likes. Honestly I nervous cause I'm so happy with how the exhaust sound now with just the APS pipes. I hope it doesn't sound too bad after the install.

Sweet, I've had that exhaust on my car for a few years now and still love it. I did have some issues when I first installed it, but it's great now. You'll love the sound every time you start it up and at WOT. Also it's shiny.
I'll have to post some picts after winter of my exhaust to show everyone what the magnesium chloride does to stainless steel.
Robert: I'm curious to hear how it sounds with test pipes. Headers in the future?

What issues did you have? Any hints for an easier install? Please post those pics. Headers no, Turbo manifolds yes!

My first time out at the La Junta track, because of the extra heat, the exhaust expanded so much that the last section (muffler) fell out of the rubber hangers. I just had to keep adjusting it though out the day.
The Stillen exhaust hanger is straight and there's really nothing that will keep it from staying on if it expands like this. My system was probably an extreme because it didn't fit well. A new system should be okay.
I ended up fitting the exhaust a little better and drilling holes in the exhaust hanger posts so I can put a cotter pin through. Since then, no issues on the road or at the track.
Hindsight, I should have taken it to a muffler shop to get the outer tube parts expanded so that it would have fit better. I also installed the exhaust myself with the car on jack stands with no instructions. Which sucked and took a little bit more time, but no big deal.
Hints: Start at the front work your way back. Make sure that the pipes go in as far as possible before you tighten the clamps. Don't fully tighten the clamps before everything is on. Don't forget to put the Stillen stickers on because that's where the Horse power come from.
Good luck with the install, you should be fine with a new system.

Congrats! Probably don't need a retune, but it can't hurt.
Didn't make it up to MAC today, traffic was too bad from the snow, so I still don't know what my shiny new clutch is like! Tomorrow, though.

Hey, ill try and make it a little later. Ill give you a ring when i get off work to see if your still there. Id like to come in to have them do a scan on my 1444 code anyway! Cheers.
