Damn mudd! thats not good, That is a common problem, that adjuster sees a lot of tq, the thing gets cranked on more than it's designed for with the vortech. I wonder if it can be replaced with a grade 8?
I don't think it's too big of a deal to fix.

It wouldn't be if I had smaller hands. My hands don't fit in there so well. I think it should hold tension as long as the bolt on the idler pulley is tight, correct me if I am wrong.
I think I am going to have to remove a bunch of stuff to get it out. It's hard to tell what all is on that bracket or how it is in there because it is hard to see and also I didn't install with my own hands and eyes to know exactly what it looks like. I just don't want to jinx myself for this track day I have been waiting all damn winter for.

Kevin, I hope you get the ticket issue resolved. If need be you could come when the gate opens run to court when you need to and come back. I will call you before wed. Hope to see everybody wed. Don't anyone freak out...
There may be light snow Wednesday morning (Yes the weather is VWBiznitch's fault), but it will be gone FAST!! Mid 50's, good 1/4 mile temps!!
Kevin might has some problems, I heard up to 2ft in foothills...

I guess my fast talking worked with the boss, I plan to be there as long as the weather is reasonable.
Anybody down near the track that could post a local weather report here tomorrow AM?

I will call the Bandimere hotline in the morning and post here what they say about the days activities. If it is cancelled for the day, depending on weather they may be open for the night session.
My gut level on this is this. We have gotten so much water today it's unbelievable. Just because it stops raining, doesn't guarantee they will run cars down the track tomorrow. With this much water it's likely that the track will seep water through the small cracks in it's surface due to a high water table making racing tomorrow out of the question. I guess we will have to keep our fingers crossed.
