I just got a Z, and I'm in 'burque. Know Barzten1 for a few years now, know todd (built z motorsports) and I'm sure I've met some others. Have an '03 silverstone touring, bone stock, might stay that way, I haven't decided.

Word has it there will be a little get together (Zs, nissans, infinitis, etc.) on Sunday the 19th of October. Target parking lot on Paseo near I-25. 10:30 A.M., then cruise out to the Jemez area for pics, lunch, then back around thru Santa Fe, in case your interested. I'll be there.

Meet was cancelled, only one there was me. It might be set up later, will let you know as soon as i find out.

On a different note, I may be selling my Z soon to save up for a new camaro SS. Hope its a good idea.

 

Heard there's a food drive going on Nov 16th. Anybody else know anything about it? Supposedly it's going to be pretty big. On another note, anyone need Nismo rim stickers? I tried to stick em on mine but they won't adhere so I'm thinking about just stripping the other 2 stickers off my rims. *sigh*

Supposedly it was suppose to be a subaru and evo thing but so many people asked if they could be apart of it and it grew much bigger. I know some supra guys are going but was only told that there is something about it on the RSW forums. I'm not apart of that so I wasn't able to look anything up. As for now it's just what I heard at work from a few guys.

 

Does anyone else get annoyed having a Z at times. Im not saying i don't love my car; I'm saying i hate the way others react while i drive my car. You all know you can never drive down paseo or I25 without a civic or my favorite, a saturn, doing a ricer flyby. On occasions im guilty in pursueing them for fun. The fact is i cannot afford to ever get pulled over. While i want to enduldge myself on occasion, i prefer the track. I just wish all these cars would get their jollys of tormenting each other rather then me. Just Venting ALBUQUERQUE ROCKS!!!!

 

Just turn the music up and ignore them, you start racing one and there are 4 more following.

That thing is probably difficult to drive at any given speed limit, its probably pretty smooth and egging you on with the turbos. I keep getting snagged by the camera's. You'd think I would figure it out since they are stationary and have rumble strips at the intersections.

 

I learned quick after 2 redlight camera tickets. I got my second one not coming to a complete stop to turn right on a red. That sucks barzten i have not had a moving violation in 3 years knock on wood.

I've had plenty of people wanting to race me, but i know with my luck there would be a cop right around the next corner, so i don't bother.

 

Dont know yet. Gunna set a court date and try to weezle out of it.

 

Anyone interested in a set of Axis Hiro's (rims only). I'll be removing them shortly and I've got a replacement for the spring and won't need these.

They are staggered 19x8.5 frt and 19x9.5 rr. Each rim has a small amount of curb rash but are still in good condition, can't remember the offsets right now, but I can find out and still have the original boxes they came in. These actually came from a 350Z and will look very good. I'm asking 500, let me know as I work on base and we can meet up if you'd like to look. They are brillant silver. Thanks.

 

On that note.. anyone want to buy some 08 Base rims? Used for 500 miles
