Thanks for the info, Robert. You mean you had to roll those fenders to fit those skinny little tires??

How much did he charge you?

No problem. And to be honest I didn't need to roll the fenders. I just did it so I didn't have to worry about rubbing under load when I road race.

I think it was $60 for both fenders. I honestly don't remember. He has also drove up to Denver to do it. Hit him up and he'll take care of you. Great guy.

Forgot to add that he has made trip up North before. So if you can't make it down South he'll work with ya.

We'll see. Remember I've only driven it four times. LOL So I need to get use to this power. I have the CF hood to put on (looking to somehow do before Ada moves us), the CF rear lip, and have SPL endlinks on thier way. Like to add some Bride seats and Tanabe Pro Seven coil-overs w/ TEAS system. Maybe once I get a solid job I'll build the motor for some more boost/power. However Ada now hates this car more than ever. I tried to explain that its boost or booze but she still hates both.

EDIT: I forgot I have my CraftSquare mirrors coming too.

Bought them separately, remember when I asked about a powder coater? Had to get the bases and my gas cap done in matte black.

As for track time, I'm not sure. I want to get some auto-x time in before I hit a road course. I want to have a good idea on the limits of the car first.

Oh! Sneaky sneaky! LOL Looks awesome! Any more pics? How does it compare to the G and Z? I'm honestly jealous.

I'm sure it won't take you long to find the limits. I think there is an Auto-X coming up this month, June, in Denver.

I don't drive the G at all anymore. You really need to drive one, it's a totally different beast. Anything with power steering feels clumsy and even your Z felt way too plush. lol

Auto-X, I registered with rmsolo, I just need to pick my class (SS i think) and number.

Also, on those brides, I hear they aren't meant for broad people like you and me. Have you sat in a set yet? The Bride Zodia's are available for the Lotus, but I'm hesitant.

I bet and don't blame ya! Lotus > G/Z!!! I don't know about the power steering... I had a Fiat 600cc Uno 4sp when I lived in Italy. I missed power steering so much when I drove it. However a $500 Fiat to a $40k+ Lotus isn't a fair comparo.

Glad to see you are giving auto-x a shot. I had a blast when I went to the World Arena event. Its not as easy as everyone might think. 99% of the time I was in 2nd gear and than on the brakes. LOL As far as classing they should have a list and what cars fall into what. The Lotus is still stock right? No brake, suspention, power mods or r-compound tires, right?

And I'm just big bone! I completely understand. Even Mitsubishi/Recaro address the American ass before selling the Evo 8 in the States. Of course the $1400/seat price tag doesn't help making it a quick purchase. I haven't sat in a set yet. There is a Z owner in Houston that has a set and will be helping me on some legal issues with the Z. Hopefully he doesn't mind me sitting in them to get a feel.
