Hey folks,

I'm interviewing for a job in Phoenix and I'm fairly sure they will make an offer. They scheduled a realtor to take me on a tour based on my needs and he took me to an area called DC Ranch in North Scottsdale. I really liked the area from my limited time there.

So my questions are how is this area compared to others in the vicinity in terms of:

*Crime

*Schooling - kids are in private school right now but I'd like to consider public as well

*Amenities - shopping, activities, etc.

*Are there other areas I should check out?

*Area felt like I was on vacation - for those that live there - does this ever get old?

*Anything else to add on the general vibe of the area and people I should know about?

*What is the motorsports scene like? I do about 6 to 10 track days a year and would like to continue this.
