It looks like you were staying off the strip... I don't trust anywhere in Vegas, let a lone a place "off the beaten path". Makes me wonder on the security of where you were.

Hope you find the bastards! Do you have wheels to get back to CA?

I think some handicapped person got pissed for taking their spot and this was their revenge!

Good luck on tracking them down, hope the get f'n theives. The custom color will help I would think. No wheel locks is just dumb, even on stock rims. Even they are an easy $600 worth of tires and rims to them and even more for you to replace!

Another word of advise for others, don't store the key lock in the car. Even if the OP had locks, but the key was with the jack, trunk, glove, then it makes no difference except if they skip over the car for an easier target. They might set off the alarm if they open the doors, but I bring my key with me if I leave it in sketchy areas or overnight other than my garage (which has motion sensor alarms).

ok, to the response of insurance fraud accusations..WTF? And no, I would not jack the rims off my own car 1000miles from home and with brand new fresh paint jobSO back on topic -the RIO officials sucks wieners. THey arent helping me at all and the only thing they have told me is they have reviewed the surveillance and it is not their fault(they said they are not responsable for lost or stolen items). Bogus i say..but oh well. I am now going through my insurance for new rims/tires/ and body work. the jacks that were used on the car do look like 350z jacks, and i have heard from a friend in vegas that he thought he saw them on red 350z(although I dont know how credible that is) anyways...LUCKILY there was a fellow Z owner in vegas selling some GT-C's on craigslist. he delivered and helped me install them so I could at least drive home. So props to russ in LV if hes on here! Im working closely with the LVPD detective thats working the case so we can find this screwball and get his nuts in a vise.
BTW im looking into new lug nuts but am torn between the rays formula or the new R40 Revos. Any suggestions? also, do you know if they will fit in the tight holes that the GT-C's have?
thanks!@!

I scribed each one of my wheels on the inside before the tires were installed. It basically has my contact info and a request to the Tire Shop/Technician to call me if the person requesting the tire change on the invoice does not match my name. Tires don't last forever!

That's a great idea... but how to make the shop take notice? Maybe a dash of red paint or something?

It's pretty obvious, but a splash of white out, nail polish, whatever, would be a good idea.
