I'm planning a road trip from So Cal to CO. Was wondering if you guys can give me some suggestions on scenic places (or outdoors fun) to check out on the way.

I have a couple of places planned:

1) Valley of Fire (NV)
2) Arches National Park/Moab (UT)

Here's my route so far: Drive Me. I'm giving myself 4 days.

HWY 40 to blackhawk(From I-70), then hwy 119 to Nederland, then HWY 72 to Estes Park and then almost any route down from Estes.

It's for a business meeting in the Denver area. Instead of flying out there, I've decided to take this opportunity to put in more road trip miles and take some photographs. All these miles just for a 1 day meeting. Lol.
