The One Lap of America is going to be at Pikes Peak International Raceway (PPIR) this Sunday, May 2nd. From the schedule at www.onelapofamerica.com, the time trials are from 8:30 to 3:30. I called PPIR this morning and the event is open to spectators for a small cost, they didn’t know the cost, but are going to call me back.

For those interested in going, how about we meet at the Larkspur rest area on I-25, just past exit # 172 at 7:15 am. Hopefully we’ll leave the rest area by 7:30 am and get to PPIR by 8:15 am, just before things start up. If you’re not an early riser, you can meet us at PPIR later, www.ppir.com.

If you already had a commitment with your significant other, you may be able to get them to come by mentioning that brothers Adam and Andrew (The Bachelor) Firestone are running an STi with Praxxis suspension this year. The chance to see him may help. My wife will be coming with me.
