Default Denver - High-res digital camera, Custom Z Poster

Does anyone in the area have access to a high-resolution (8 MP or more) digital camera? I'd like to take some really high-resolution shots of my Z and potentially a few others in order to make some posters.

I'd like to hang some landscape-oriented movie-size posters in my garage and office, and I found a place that can do it at 100 dpi (decent quality, definitely good enough for a poster) and just about any size you want. To get 100 dpi at that size, I need a really high resolution image. My digital camera (2 MP, low quality) won't cut it.

Anyone want to get in on this? Maybe we could also make a calendar, t-shirts, or something. I'm fairly handy with photoshop, so editing the photos would be no problem. We could make something fairly nice.

Thoughts?

Unfortunately my digital is only 5mp.

Posters sound like a great idea, but have you thought about maybe painting a mural in your garage instead? Calendar, T-shirts, or anything else sounds awesome to me. Some very interesting things people are doing out there with regards to promoting their cars. I know of a guy who is even making a deck of cards out of pics people sent in... Z Playing Cards My baby made the cut (pun intended); she's the 9 of diamonds!

Please, let me know if you need help with anything.

unfortunately, my garage is... below my apartment. I don't own it, so I can't paint anything in there.

I'm looking into various other options. Using a film camera and scanning the slides at high resolution will also work for posters, and I have some leads on where I can get that done for fairly low cost. I'll let you guys know what I find out.

Sounds good, that might work well.

You want to move here? I'd trade places in a second. I spent my first 18 years in Dallas, and I miss Texas like you wouldn't believe.

We got 6-8 inches of snow last night.. and it sucks -- a lot. My Z is in the garage for the winter. It's not fun making a huge monthly payment on a car you can't even use.
