I should receive the tickets today but Paramax is still printing the parking passes and they will be shipped to me separately. Hopefully I have those by Monday and you will receive both your tickets and parking pass by Thursday.

I received an email today that I will print out and mail a copy to everyone. You must bring this to JGTC along with ID. This will include your temporary parking pass to get in. Once you arrive, they will exchange parking passes with a permanent one. I will mail tickets out today so if you are in southern Ca, you should receive them by tomorrow (hopefully). Here is a piece of the email:

Dear Car Club Members,

First off, a big thank you for supporting GT Live. As you know we have had some issues in putting on the fan lap. Our goal is to create a new type of motor sport event that provides the highest entertainment value. This requires experimentation, especially in the first year, and along the way some things do not work out as planned. We apologize for having to limit the participation in the fan lap to 250 cars. To make up for this we have done the following:

• All car club participants now park in the infield in a newly created car club zone. We displaced two other attractions to make room for you.
• All car club participants receive a parking pass with in-out privileges. You are the only ones with this type of access.
• Those of you who are not able to participate in the fan lap receive a free wristband for the VIP Grand Stand on both Saturday and Sunday, a $20 value. The VIP Grand Stand is purpose-built for GT Live and sits right on top of the best infield action. On Saturday this will be a great place to see some serious braking duels between the JGTC cars. On Sunday the VIP Grand Stand once again gives you a spectacular view of all the JGTC action and provides the best viewing for D1, XDL and Formula D. The VIP Grand Stand lets you see down the straight and through the corner section for maximum coverage. And by limiting access you will know you have a seat. Stephen will be handing out the VIP wristbands on Saturday in the Car Club Zone.

I should be at the caravan point at Starbucks in Yorba Linda (or wherever the 949 caravan will be). If anyone knows for sure they will be there, I can hold on to their tickets if they like. Email me at zuprcar@hotmail.com

I'm still trying to find that out. I'll make it work that they do. It's only fair since passengers are allowed for the fan lap.

I'll roll with any of the 626/909 people, but I suggest that we ALL meet at the Dave & Buster's parking lot at Ontario Mills. It's 4 miles from the Speedway, has a big parking lot and is accessible to everyone coming from the 10 and 15. It'll be easier if we all roll in together, right? What time are they letting the car clubs in to park and what time is everyone planning on meeting up?

The gates are open to us from 6:00am. The event starts at 9:00. Thank you Oliver for suggesting Dave & Buster's. I'm not too sure if everyone is planning on arriving in the morning. Somebody suggest a time and I'll be there. For those that also plan on arriving early, I can hold on to your tickets and pass them out there. Please indicate if you want your tickets held and your first name too.
