Default New Years Day Run - 2nd Annual “Tour d’Orange”

Hey guys,

A few of us made it last year to the inaugural Tour d'Orange run and it was a blast. As the title states, the Tour is back for a second year! Its a great time to come out and check out exotics and participate in a mild run on New Years Day when traffic is minimal.

Here is an excerpt from 912registry.org:

2nd Annual “Tour d’Orange” Saturday January 1st 2005 ; That’s Right, New Years Day! Meet in the parking lot of the Crystal Cove Promenade at 9:00 for instructions and route maps, tour leaves at 9:15. Same event that had over 150 vehicles participating last year. With a minor route change, this year should be even more fun! No sign up, no fee, no eligibility requirements. Just come along and enjoy the drive through some of Orange County’s best canyon roads while you shake off the New Years hangover. Approximately 2-2.5 hour tour. We’ll have you home before any of the big games kick off. Join us on this New Years Day tradition. I suggest arriving at 8 AM. There is a heck of a car show happening and it is fun to walk around and see all the great cars before the drive! Be there!

Hope to see you guys there!! We had about a half dozen 350 Zs there last year.

Lets plan on meeting up around 8am in the Crystal Cove parking lot. Here is the address

7957 Pacific Coast Highway
Newport Coast CA, 92657

Last year there were Porsches, Ferarris, old Mustangs, Corvettes, Cobras, Evos, and various exotics. Very friendly, pure car enthusiast crowd.
